After Disaster
Sasha Khalimonova (Concordia University Montreal)
look at the forest, at the silver reactor
a monument of mistake, a new field of flowers
carry a box, make a paradox of capture;
release a beaver to the exclusion zone
decades after disaster
bears, bison, wolves, cattle
a free-flowing river, free from all plastic
spot a plane landing, the tourists start dancing
wild horses, green birds, trees climb to reach
what else do you do at the end of the world
but lay at the beach?
